Damping rails are made of 2 metal plates that have been vulcanised together and have been placed under an electric motor or foot flange. By using a damping rail noise caused by power transfer between the hydraulic pump and the drive unit can be reduced by 3 to 5 decibel.
A damping rail is also an effective tool for reducing resonance and vibrations.
The rubber vulcanisation that is used can withstand mineral oils and a working temperature of max. 80° Celsius
